Arts & Gems has been a part of my life for the past 19 years. I feel a little guilty writing about it because what you will read will be from my perspective only even though it has always been three people working together as a team from the start , with total dedication & harmony . (My brother in law Aziz Ahmed, my husband Muhammad Nasir & I Amna Nasir)

G od has been so kind to us, with his help we have managed to carve a niche for ourselves. Our commitment, honesty & hard work has paid off and made Arts & Gems the success that it is today. By the grace of God Arts & Gems is known & respected through out Pakistan & abroad, for its exquisitely crafted jewellery which is at par with international standards & quality.

T he journey from when we started in 1986 till now has been so very interesting & so very hard. We decided right at the start that we would not be traveling the well trodden path. Not for us the run of the will stuff. We refused to make the usual, boring sets & bangles, in colors which had become so repetitive , to put it mildly , rubies, emerald , sapphire pearls, turquoise & a few other color in gemstones were being used over & over & over again!

W e decided to do something radical we started designing like crazy, and introduced gems which were unheard of in those days! Aquamarine, Pink tourmaline, Blood stone, Cats eye Blue topaz, Lemon Topaz, Star Rubies & Sapphire’s Corals & Opals.

W e also put a lot of emphasis on the quality & finish of our creations. People actually called us crazy , telling us nobody would buy from us as we were using all the wrong color’s and after all who would want to wear just a pair of pretty earring’s & a bracelet & not the usual necklace set to a wedding or a party? Well. Then and now most ladies prefer to look classy & glamorous by wearing less but good jewellery rather then go over board & wear every thing and still not look nice . Today even brides are opting for one amazing set to match their wedding outfit instead of piling on lots of stuff. Looks like we have proven every body wrong!

W e have traveled the globe in search of the best & the latest trends & Technology. Learning is an ongoing process for us & we are constantly honing our skills as jewelers by learning from amazing teachers at the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad California, by attending seminars & conferences by participating in or visiting exhibitions in Australia, Hong Kong, London etc. to meet & learn from the experienced people of this trade. All this is for the benefit of our customers so that we can provide them with better & better service.

W e are truly blessed in that we have managed to earn the respect & trust of our customers as well as the industry. Today the name Arts & Gems is synonymous with superior quality Jewellery. We create our jewellery with the thought of it becoming an heirloom one day, by withstanding the test of time. Our clientele ranges from 16 to 60 onwards!

W e have the cool, trendy stuff for the teenagers and we also have three very distinct collections, traditional fusion and the diamond range “DAZZLE” which appeal to all age groups. We are still growing & learning & evolving & we always welcome ideas & suggestions from our friends & customers .

I t has been our aim from the beginning to be the best & to do the best & we have received so much appreciation & encouragement that we feel that the hard work, hardships & heart breaks along the way were all worth it
